The location, friendly and helpful staff.
Booked a budget hotel .The rooms looked the part online. On Arrival at the hotel after 1am, got given a family room which we booked. The room wasn't locked and door was open with deadbolt in out position. Opened the door and got hit by a massive damp stench. There was heavy mould on ceilings. We were gobsmacked. I went down to help desk and showed pictures of mouldy room. Said its not what was expected, I implied the serious health concerns on black mould and the room didnt look like the pics on booking.com. I was stressing over having to book elsewhere at 1 am and possibly loosing the money paid for this hitel as it was a condition to pay for it when booking, based on a 'good deal'. Was given card keys to another room and said to have a look to see if we wanted it. The other room was adequate. It put a 'damper 'on our short stay and the lifts and areas always smelt like bleach. Bathroom wasnt clean. Had an annoying p.r sensor in the bathroom and main room that would click whe it picked up any movement. Had privacy concerns and asked what its purpose was. They said it was to switch off the aircon aircon when no activity detected? You get what you pay for? Not quite. Misleading information and an expectation that you would say nothing as they have your money? Who knows...... Wouldn't do again and an eye opener.

Very close to shops, MRT, Mustafa center and Mosque. Decent size room.
The scent used for cleaning can be changed to good one. It's more like hospital cleaning smell.
